Litter Box
We are not a high volume kennel. Matter of fact, there is no "kennel." Our dogs are all house dogs. We breed a litter of puppies occasionally... usually when we are ready to take someone new in the conformation ring. Each litter is purposely planned with soundness of structure and mind at the forefront of importance. Health screening is conducted prior to breeding (hearing, hips, eyes and thyroid), and after the litter has arrived (dew claw removal, vaccination and de-worming). All puppies are B.A.E.R. (brainstem auditory evoked response) tested at five weeks.
Each puppy is hand-raised according to the Puppy Culture protocol, nurtured and loved to ensure its ready to join its new family. Not every home is a show home. Most of our puppies are placed into pet homes, although they may be considered show quality. Puppies placed as companions are required to be spayed/neutered when age appropriate. We encourage each puppy family to participate in a Puppy Kindergarten or Basic Obedience class. Good manners are an acquired skill that everyone must learn.

We are so excited to announce Boone and Aria have been bred and pregnancy has been confirmed. Puppies are due early July and are Futurity nominated. The litter will be whelped and raised at Spothaven in So Cal.
